Description
This material is part of the Language Arts curriculum for Early Childhood. Whole-Half Fruits is a set of three-part nomenclature cards aiming to expand vocabulary and familiarize children with matching identical pictures and labels. This nomenclature naming process provides an opportunity for children to name objects in their environment.
The Whole – Half Fruits set prepares children for writing and reading by demonstrating that words are parts that can form wholes, as letters can form words with meaning.
Children are able to see perceive individual letters within a word, and individual words within a text.
