This material supports the Montessori zoology curriculum, and indirectly, the history curriculum.Children in primary level learn introductory knowledge about the parts and the functions of the external parts of animals. At the elementary level, children learn more about the parts and functions of animals using classified nomenclature cards. This material, Internal Parts of the Animal, introduces children to the parts that children cannot see, and to their vital functions. This material consists of 93 three-part cards, five wallcharts, and five booklets. The nomenclature cards contain a description, a label, and a picture card for matching purposes. The five wallcharts represent all the parts together. The booklets serve as control for error for the nomenclature matching work.
